This category is reserved for environmental innovators with a revolutionary business proposal or plan.

GDA GENERAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

To submit your entry, please use the online entry system. Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 PM (PST) on the deadline date. Submissions are accepted for projects produced or released to market or project proposal created (‘proposal’ stage submissions only applicable to the following categories: Design, Design + Build, Transportation and Concept) from June 1, 2008 to December 1, 2009. All submissions are judged by the Green Dot Award Jury. Only completed entries with submission fees paid in full will be considered.

We request that you upload 1 PDF file (3 page maximum not including images) that includes:
1. Business or Organization Name, Address, Phone Numbers and Contact Person. A description of your company and the name(s) and title(s) of the creators and collaborators of the project.
2. Detailed explanation of the entry to include: a. What the entry is and its intended use. b. How the entry is manufactured and delivered to consumers. c. How the entry exhibits excellence in sustainability and environmental responsibility (although not a requirement, use “What We’re Looking For” as noted under each category as a guideline).
3. At least three (3) photographs and/or renderings that represent the entry are required. You may upload up to 3 additional JPEG images. All uploaded images must be a low resolution of 72 dpi and JPEG only. For any broadcast or programming submissions (film or tv, for example), please provide GDA with a link to a quicktime video of up to 3 minutes long so that we may view your work.

Winners are notified personally and announced to the public eight to twelve weeks after the final submission deadline. All first place winners will be honored at The Green Dot Awards Gala in 2010. The Annual Book will be released eight to ten months after the announcement of winners.

By submitting to the Green Dot Awards, all images and documents submitted will become the property of Green Dot Awards. You give the Green Dot Awards permission to use any of your submitted images or text in its marketing, promotions, press and events.
