Elephant Pharm integrates all of the best elements of a conventional drug store with a broad, carefully selected range of alternative and complementary remedies and natural products in a sustainably designed environment that encourages wellness. A pilot project in the LEED for Retail Commercial Interiors Pilot Program, it is a unique pharmacy retail space that incorporates numerous sustainable measures and promotes a holistic view of health and well-being through design, merchandise, education, and community building.

McCall Design Group is an award-winning architecture firm that was established in 1989 by Michael J. McCall. We have collaborated with clients such as Elephant Pharm, Banana Republic, GAP, Victorias Secret, Pottery Barn, SFMOMA, The San Francisco Symphony, Nike, Sephora, Smith & Hawken, Kate Spade, Williams-Sonoma, and the W Hotels to create everyday architecture which informs its context with the issues of fashion, seriality, and temporality, while addressing the broader issues of preservation, urbanization, sustainability, and globalization. The firm is an active member of the 1% Program of Public Architecture, which encourages architects and designers to pledge a minimum of 1% of their time to pro bono service for non-profit organizations. We are also currently collaborating on a LEED for Retail pilot project with the US Green Building Council.

McCall Design Group is dedicated to promoting environmental responsibility by greening our office, our projects, our communities, and ourselves. By constantly educating ourselves, we are transforming our office by reducing material consumption, increasing re-use and recycling, and reducing our dependence on fossil fuels, most notably by purchasing green power. McCall Design Group uses 100% clean, renewable energy for all office operations. Working closely with our clients, we are offering green solutions to design and construction problems as we vigorously strive towards compliance with LEED criteria for our retail projects. We reach out to our communities by promoting efforts locally, regionally and nationally through financial support and volunteer time commitments. Finally, we continue to green and educate ourselves by sharing information with others and changing our own personal ways of life.
